HTC ประกาศเปิดตัวสมาร์ทโฟนรุ่นใหม่อย่างเป็นทางการ โดยได้เปิดตัว HTC Desire 601 และ Desire 300 ทั้งสองรุ่นเป็นสมาร์ทโฟนที่ใช้ระบบปฏิบัติการ Android ทั้งคู่ สำหรับรุ่น Desire 601 นั้นมาพร้อมกับ CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 แบบ dual-core 1.4GHz หน้าจอขนาด 4.5 นิ้ว พร้อมแรม 1 GB หน่วยความจำในตัว 8 GB สามารถเพิ่มเมมโมรี่การ์ดได้สูงสุด 64 GB ตัวกล้องหลัง 5 ล้านพิกเซล รองรับระบบ 4G LTE
